Our Pergasingan Hill Package is for those of you who don't have enough time to enjoy the mountain Rinjani nature.

This package will invite you to enjoy camping at one of the most iconic viewpoints in Lombok - Pergasingan Hill.

The package starts from a trip north to Senaru, then to Sembalun, the starting point of the climb.

The Pergasingan Hill Package is suitable for people who want to do the climb but not too tiring. This package is much easier than our Mount Rinani package, but offers extraordinary panoramic views and a fun camping experience. Bukit Pergasingan, or Pergasingan Hill in English, is a famed viewpoint overlooking the Sembalun valley in East Lombok. Sembalun village sits in a flat-bottomed valley, surrounded by mountains. What makes this location even more beautiful is the multi-coloured fields, which spread out across the valley-floor like an intricate patchwork quilt.

Driving to Sembalun takes some time if you are coming from Sengiggi or Bangsal Harbour (even longer if you are coming from South Lombok). For this reason, we usually stop in Senaru on the way, so you can stretch your legs and have lunch. Time permitting, we will take you to Sendang Gile waterfall in Senaru, before heading on to Sembalun (another hour’s drive).

There are two options for climbing Pergasingan Hill. The longer option follows a back trail and takes approximately 4 hours. The more direct route is far quicker, taking between 1.5-2 hours, depending on how often you stop to take photographs! We always aim to arrive at Pergasingan Hill campsite before sunset, so you can admire the view, make use of the “golden hour” to take photos and selfies, and relax with a cup of tea or coffee. Your guide and porters will set-up camp, make a campfire, and start cooking a delicious meal for you and your friends. The evenings are usually spent talking by the fire, stargazing, or listening to music if someone has brought a guitar or small speaker. Should you wish to have some local rice wine in the evening we can arrange at extra cost (but prior notice must be given when you book the package). Price is based on 2 people minimum. If a solo traveler / private tour, the cost will be higher. If you are booking for more than 2 people, we can give you a discounted rate. If you have your own transport, or are in Senaru, we can give you a discounted price (as transport accounts for most of our costs). A two days-one night, incredible experience over Pergasingan Hill near Sembalun Village and end in the waterfall Sajang village east Lombok.

Arrival day: Pick You up at your arrival in Lombok Island, then transfer to Sembalun drive 2-3 hours by private car. Check in Hotel in Sembalun, then meet your guide to get a briefing about your trip and walk to Sembalun Village to see Weaver making hand weaving and climb Selong Hill for warm-up then back to Hotel and time for your own leisure.

Day 1.
